Why don't people invest in Maseratis?
I’m a total car dummy. =) I just have a question for you manly creatures out there. Why do I hardly ever see Maseratis? My BF told me they aren’t that expensive if bought pre-owned and maintenance costs aren’t over the roof, either. So, why do people settle for BMW, Mercedes, Porsche and such? After all, isn’t Maserati the upscale version of luxury?

It depends on what people like. My favorite cars are luxury perfomance sedans and my dream car is a Mercedes S65 amg. I could get a maserati quattroporte gt if I wanted to but I don’t like it as much. And they are still kind of expensive used. They aren’t too uncommon where I live.
Cars are not investments. They do not increase in value. They start to depreciate in value as soon as you sign on the bottom line.

Because Maseratis are incredibly unreliable. And your bf was full of crap about maintenance costs; it would cost you LESS to own a BMW.
