Yeah, I’m probably going to end up closing my Scottrade account and move to ThinkorSwim. It’s just a matter of time at this point. Beautiful platform, great rates, and wonderful customer service.

Scottrade offers virtual trading for the main website and Scottrade Elite. Elite is free windows based platform if you have 25k equity or more, but if your an active trader you can request activation from your local office.

I love TOS the customer service is awsome. I love how i can txt chat a service reps. the responses are fast. The analyzing software is off the hook. My option trades are only 1.50 per contract which is very nice for my small account. I could go on and on. TOS PHO LIFE

Hi birdwk, Thanks for the input here that is good to know. Best Regards, Dave

Yes they really seem to have their act together I have been pleased with them as well and very rarely here anything negative about them. Best Regards, Dave

at the end of the day are you able to analyze your trades, so as to get a greater understanding of your techniques,i think this is as important as paper trading…having a software that can take you through all your trades…Tradestation did it for me but the platform was to expensive since i don’t trade a lot.

hi bluestradar, Glad to hear from you. You are able to pull a trading statement to see all of your past trades on this platform but it does not have the analytical features that Tradestation offers. Best Regards, Dave

GREAT HELP AS ALWAYS!

glad you liked it and thank you for watching. Best Regards, Dave

Hi, Im wondering if you could give me some advice. I have 2k that I would like to start trading with. Is 2k too small to start with? I am young, and have no real experience witht the market at all. Is there somewhere I can learn the basics or even techniques that I could use to start with?
